Wildthing update Day 6 after GB op and I've come out in ithcy things all over my back and some on arms and legs, also v bloated now, perhaps I'm not drinking enough. Sore tummy is starting to get better though, scars tugging a bit and thats it. Can't wait til strong enough again to push the hoover round, carpets are minging!!!!

First of all well done on having your Op!
The bloatiness takes a while to dispurse from your body after the Op,
Not sure about the red itchy lumps maybe it a bad reaction because of anesetic from the surgery, If your worried ring your surgeon to be on the safe side, Remember you have just had a major Op and you need to take it easy and rest, NO Hoovers yet lol.
Wishing you a speedy recovery

If red blotchy things persist then i would go and see your GP or surgery nurse you could have a simple reaction from some of your medication. Other things like being bloated will go as you are more mobile and rummaging around. Take care and get some rest - and don't worry about the hoover, dust or anything else it will be all there when you are well just remember to look after number one YOUx

I would recommend trying some piriton for the blotches but not sure you can take it yet
It does sound like an allergic reaction, give your GP.practice nurse a ring they should still be there and ask their advice. If they say piriton is okay you can get it in liquid form x

Oh you have my sympathy's its horrid xxxx
sounds just like Hives to me ( I have it permanently and when its like mine they call it Urticaria) pop along to your Dr's and they will try you on a variety of Antihistamins....the one I'm on is Ucerax (hydroxyzine Hydrochloride) and it comes in a syrup form that I have 2 x a day and have had right through surgery (have to have it) have a Little look at this website and see if the picks look like your skin...the Dr is your best bet but when you get your scrip check with the pharmacist that they can give it over the counter cheaper as there are a good few types of anti-histamine and you have to keep trying till you get the one that works for you
Good Luck and do go to the GP's
