It's 4 days since my bypass surgery. We're watching SCD, I'm having a muller ' little stars' fromage frais, peach flavour darling :candledinner: hubby is having a fully loaded meat feast pizza with a cheesy crust and a glass of red wine! Sometimes I hate him lol

My OH did that to me last night! He had a massive ham and pineapple pizza with a bottle of cider, I had mushroom soup

Tonight I'm going to treat myself to a small glass of wine, sod it.

Boy we know how to live it up. I'm sipping on a de-gassed diet irn bru in a Travelodge near Cambridge. Nowt on telly either.

It does take a while but the urge to punch your other half's light out as they eat a full on slap up cholesterol busting alcohol fuelled extravaganza in front of you does get easier. Just keep the faith.

I'm on day 2 of the pre-op diet and have just served up a roast dinner to my son while I have a tin of weight watchers tomato soup... he normally has pizza on a Saturday night but I just couldn't bring myself to make him one... but now I am looking longingly at the Yorkshire pudding on his plate...

Hi Rainbow, feeling more like myself today. Didn't have a great time after surgery but it is a big op . Head hunger is a problem for me at the moment, having the most delicious / disgusting food dreams . I know the next few weeks will pass and I will be able to eat 'normally' again, it can't come soon enough! FYI just managed to sip nearly a full mug of tea this morning bliss x
