One of the meds I'm on is not available in liquid form, have any of you been the same and were you still able to take the tablet form?

Yep, dependent on what it is (some shouldn't be crushed) but crush between two spoons and knock back with some water(vile and gritty) or put in a spoonful of yoghurt or similar
