Can't possibly give you 3 fav books as I like too many - but I will give you my 3 fav authors (these are leisure not reference books BTW)

James Patterson
David Baldacci
Mario Puzzo

oh..make it 4 - Janet Evanovich, with Tess Gerritson and Patricia Cornwell neck and neck with her :)

I love all the Rebus books by Ian Rankin too.Dan Browne books hold my interest as do Jodi Picoult

Definitely got more than 3, but if I was nailed down this instant (and it would change again in 5 minutes) I would say .......

Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee
Guards! Guards! - Terry Pratchett (or any of the DiscWorld novels after about no. 4)

But, as I say, ask me again tomorrow and it would be different!

love

Three faves would be

The Hobbit
The Lord of the Rings

And so many more, I love books I do.

On his 83rd birthday,Eddie a lonely war veteran, dies in a tragic accident trying to save a little girls life. With his final breath,he feels two small hands in his, then nothing. He wakes in the afterlife, where he learns heaven is not a lush garden of eden, but a place where your earthly life is explained to you by five people who were in it.These people may be loved ones or strangers.Yet each of them changed your path forever... one review says 'this book is a gift to the soul'
I loved it.If you would like to borrow it, email me your address.
