Out of breath!

Hi all

I'm three weeks post band op and struggle to take deep breaths in without terrible pain in my chest. Has anybody else suffered? is it normal? It's starting to drag me down. I get out of breath easily and can't sing a song as I can't hold the notes! (maybe not a bad thing!)

Any advise greatly received! xx

It sounds like the place where they stitched/attached the port to your chest muscles is tight or still tender.

Always a good idea for pain related things to ask your provider for advice in the first instance xxx

Not shortness of breath as such no. I definately feel it there though and it is sore if I knock it etc.

I would give them a ring tomorrow if you're worried for your own peace of mind.
