So I'm due to go into hospital on Monday, with my op on Tuesday...

I haven't had a period in 2 months.... UNTILL NOW.

Lol it's just my luck eh... so uhhhh am i gunna be able to sort myself out? Or is some unlucky nurse going to have the pleasure?!

Don't worry about it. Just tell the nurse and she will advise you. Take pads AND tampons with you. It's not a problem - they've dealt with it all before. Zxx

i dunno how long ill be on for, its usually like 5 days, but its been a while since my last one! lol rubbish!

Don't even get me started on this one lol I don't have periods due to my coil and the last one I had was nearly 4 years ago....however lo and behold on the morning I was due to go in "along comes Mary!" I was less than impressed. The nurses were fab and like the others said they have dealt with it a hundred times before....I can suggest disposable panties and pads makes it easier all round as they can just throw the ummmm-used ones away and slip on a clean padded new pair as required...also recommend the big old always ultra nights ans they are good and long for when your laying back etc.....good luck and don't worry all will be fine xxx
 
That happened to me once. I broke me leg and i had to stay in hosp for a week, and i come on......hadnt had a period in 3 years prior to that..........what makes it worse is i was plastered (not drunk) from hip to toe...........so i had to rely on them put knickers on me and everything................and it was male nurse ..but he was gr8 and didnt make me feel uncomfortable..............
 
Becca, don't worry about it the nurse's will sort you out. Last week when I went in for my op it happened to me on the morning of my op. As you know though I did'nt get my op but I had mentioned it to the nurse and she said there was no problem with it.
