Having said that, I don't think the current system works for this kind of thread. I know it would mean more work for the thread originator but would the method of the 1st message having the current state be better? As in the Op dates thread?

Hi Nic

Everytime I add my weight someone uses an old list and overrides it. I've added it 3 times now, so I give up. Everytime I look its gone. :sigh:

I am sorry this has happened and I think I have fixed the thread so that everyone is correct, please everyone look over my last post and see if it is correct.

Having said that, I don't think the current system works for this kind of thread. I know it would mean more work for the thread originator but would the method of the 1st message having the current state be better? As in the Op dates thread?

John, the way this thread is set up is exactly how all challenge threads have been done on minis and usually works fine without a lot of maintenance. The last challenge thread took loads of time by Sam & myslef to keep it up to date which I was trying to avoid this go around because being a moderator takes more of my time and leaves me less to post. However I will be more dilligent about this thread as this is supposed to be fun not frustrating. I will put the current list on the front page and update it daily if you think that will help.
