I thought a stottie was one of those little dogs they have way up in Scotland :D :8855:

:D lol u mean a scotty dog !, they might taste nice as well richard, i suppose it depends how ya cook em

hi liz i use to get them my kids loved them we can still get them from our local netto store or at least last time i was in there we could lol

I love rissoles, havent had them for a while. I also love spam fritters, I dont think I have had one of those for about 4-5 years at least. They bring back some memories. I suppose that you could make low fat rissoles, if you take reduced fat pork sausages, remove the skin, and then add the seasoning, flatten out into patties and fry in fry light - yummy.

Oh wow, thats got me all excited. As a kid and a teenager, we often used to have the old Westlers burgers or Campbells meatballs with rice. Bloody loved them!!!! Then as I grew into a great big fat person (not surprisingly) I was thrilled to find that you could eat Westlers burger in gravy, on a red day on Slimming World. How it was a free food with that fat content is beyond me? Never understood corned beef or macaroni cheese being 'free food' either but I think they've scrapped all that.

I too have quite got into Mr Brains faggots. The whole title is totally unappealing but they taste nice and do feel like comfort food. Old habits do die hard :p
