i'm northamptonshire. (wellingborough)
not much snow, all main roads are well gritted.

I'm in East Sussex about 10 miles south of East Grinstead.
We've got about 5 inches of snow & its still coming... looks stunning but treacherous!

Pudsey - twixt Leeds and Bradford, more snow overnight, now about 9 inches I guess. Side road diabolical.

Main roads poorly gritted if at all. Bus jack knifed on hill in Pudsey. Got half way to work and had to turn round and go home. Cars stuggling to go up hills.

Wish I could hibernate til summer!

Thick snow here in Camberley in Surrey - about 8 inches and still snowing. I can't go out as had a knee op on Dec 22nd and I'm still doing the funny walk at the moment so will just have to stay in and be a couch potato or I could do the ironing I suppose. Now where did I leave that remote control?!!!

I'm in Luton. The snow is bad. I work in a school and most of the luton schools are closed due to the weather. Luton airport has cancelled many flights. It was closed over night. We are expecting extream snow today and over night. At the moment the main roads are good but people living in villages might have problems getting into work. The advise is do not travel unless you need to.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow. I hope your op goes ahead as planned. I know what it is like waiting for this surgery.

My friend had her by-pass op cancelled at luton last year in Jan. It wasn't due to the weather. She was already in her gown and had her pre op medication when they cancelled. I felt so sorry for her as she had travelled all the way from Norwich. They did her surgery 10 days later. They do try to do it ASAP.

Best wishes for all of you waiting for their surgery. Dam snow!!!!

It's bad here in Preston Lancs.Lots of schools are shut, and there's no way i'm moving anywhere in case I crash my car or fall on my arse:eek::eek::eek:

I live in a tiny village in Northamptonshire near Rutland and the snow isn't too terrible but the ice is awful. I had a car accident due to the snow yesterday and now not going anywhere until the roads are safe. The roads are not gritted around here and I am about 10 miles of country roads before the main roads and they are so dangerous right now.

My husband lives in Portsmouth during the week and was sent home yesterday to work for the remainder of the week because they were worried he would be stuck in Hampshire.
