Why can't I see my profile?

Hi
I've just joined and am really confused with this site, probably because I can't even view my own profile. If I click on my name (or anyone else's) it says I do not have permission to view it! I've added a photo and also a tricker (I think that's what it was called!) but now can't see them anywhere. Am I doing something wrong?

Haven't a clue what that means and the link doesn't work. Don't think I'll bother with this site any more it's too confusing.
