hi i got gastric bypass Thursday at heartlands but on the weekend i have tummy ache so i got my hot water bottle and put it on my tummy well i must of fell asleep with it on there , so be morning i woke up and i had a big round blister so i left it but my daughter jumped on me and burst it so i put cream on with its just starting to scab but its red looks sore will they stop the operation ???? im so worried i have worked hard to get this far any advice guys thanks

Hi. Maybe contact the district nurses at your gp
Surgery. Sound like u burnt yourself and you probably need a dressing until
It heals. I would put a sterile cover and antiseptic over it to reduce risk
Of infections. Again depends where it is? Is it on surgery site? Maybe call
The bariatiric nurse for

Be careful that it doesn't get infected otherwise they may nt
Do that surgery with an existing wound infection.
