Wow...

Hello Everyone,
I am shocked, i have lost nearly 3 stone in 4 weeks,
While on one hand i think its a fab weight loss,
but on the other hand i worry is it too much too fast
I have stuck to the plan except i introduced a small salad a few days ago
and melba toast with light philly just for that bit of crunch.
I have been doing light walks.
I am hoping it's just a great weight loss rather then worrying something
else maybe wrong with me?
Would anyone else who is post op be concerned?
Take Care, Danni x

Hi Danni, if you are concerned at your rate of weight loss contact your provider. They may well give you some suggestions to increase your intake or just set your mind at rest.

Good luck and take care

Hi Chrissy,
The hospital just called me to check how my pain was since i started taking my lansoprazole so i just mentioned it to them & they said the weight loss is great
and nothing to worry about,
they said the first few weeks you do see a rapid weight loss,
so here is me doing the happy dance haha :D !!
I personally don't feel like i have lost any weight though,
but hey the scales don't lie haha :D !!
I was also told to leave the salads and grapes until next month stage 3

Thats great Danni. Reap the benefits now, it will slow later so bank a few extra pounds whilst you can.
Can you get your grapes and salad stuff in a smoothie?

Hi Chrissy,
I bought a smoothie maker but it's just gathering dust because everytime i try & make something it never tastes nice hahaha.
Salad i was told to avoid as it's too fibrous, so just gonna have cucumber instead :)

Ha, not an expert at smoothies either, made 1 so far :D. Came out Quite nice, miore fruity than anything although there was some spinach and carrot in it. Recipe book that came with the machine oretty useless as most if the recipes include ingredients avalable easily in the USA but not here lol. Having another go tonight. Juts practising for post op.

Well done on your weight lose, it can fall off very quickly at the start and I cant blame you for thinking too much too soon but if your team say its fine then trust them they deal with this all the time
keep up the good work

Hi Chrissy,
I agree plus lots of the recipes include things am not allowed.
I think you will do fab post op, you joined the forum before your op,
which will help you along the way with niggly questions & problems & causes,
So you will definitely be more educated unlike me i joined Day 1 pre op but i
am trying to get as much info as i can to help me along the way :D !!

Hi Los in it,
