Sorry but I found some of that quite insulting.
I am one of the lucky ones who has had no problems so has had no experiences of what other people are going through. Therefore bar greetings and good lucks there is very little I can contribute.

Unless you are one of 'the few' your weight loss journey will be a mixture of losses and stalls - quite long stalls at times. Don't worry, it's more normal it raining on washing day :-D

Is it the Ashford in Kent that you're having your op? If it is it may be a better journey. When I lived in Bexhill I was dreading the journey to Chichester as that coast road can be a nightmare!!

I haven't any experience on this but it's unlikely you will be 'cleared' to drive so soon. Some insurers say you are not covered until you can brake safely, others have a time limit.
I have posted about all sorts of things that nobody else would understand. Crossing fingers, crossing legs. My latest 'thing' is my body and feet aching because I've walked and climbed and kayaked and canoed etc etc NOT because of my weight

I find it 'funny' how different areas can have different paths.

I've just had a very quick look at the Alizone website and find the whole thing a little 'suspect'. They are making a lot of claims with very few details of what the treatment entails. Plus there are just some total inaccuracies. I've just read a few paragraphs on elasticity...
All the feelings you express are normal and totally understandable.
It's human (female?) nature to worry that you have to hand the reins over to others bit your husband WILL cope.
