Unfortunately I cannot afford to go further than my front door and since my last holiday was 9 years ago, Im pretty desperate. Right now, given the opportunity, I would go anywhere - weight or no weight! On my list is Mauritius and Thailand and I have a yen to go to Venice again too.

Holidaying in the UK this year, we moved to a new house just before xmas - wouldnt recommend moving then lol and spent what would be our holiday money on landscaping the garden. Since then it has almost non stop P***d it down. We will be staying in my OH's mums static caravan in Chapel St Leonards Lincolnshire last week of summer hols. Plenty to do if the weather is rubbish.
Next year we are going to Boa Vista on the Cape Verde islands, hoping to be near my goal by then - just got to pay for it now!

Just had a week in Dorset. It was over all to soon and overall cost as much as the two weeks we had in North Africa last year! Next year it is two weeks in Menorca and I will hopefully be at goal by then.
62lbs down this holiday was a bonus because I was able to walk with relative ease and do some simple climbing too!

but its my 40th in Jan, so im hoping for a Las Vegas trip lol and maybe a wedding ! who knows, I got to drop the hints more, ive started but theres no reaction yet lol. Ill be well on my way as it will have been 5 months from my bypass so will look tons better than now

I also moved in december last year so for this years holiday i got a new boiler and a few rooms decorated lol the last time i went abroad i hated the flight as seat was so small and didnt feel like i could breath or id have been sat on persons knee next to me! but it has got me down not having a holiday and also thinking i would not go any way incase i didnt fit in the seat:cry: But yesterday i thought bugger it im booking a holiday for next year , but im hoping ill be few stones lighter by then so wont have the worry of the seat just hope im not jumping the gun :fingerscrossed:

Putting on my travel agent hat....Cape Verde is a good choice...it's a real chill out place that's like the Caribbean but not as far....(never heard a bad word about it)...I would recommend a RIU hotel.

Id love to go on holiday but I have to wait for my results and hopefully my surgery . I would luv to go back to Egypt as well but not being so heavy it nearly killed me first time round . Take care .

Well I thought the world was my oyster when I started working for a travel agency...I have never had an educational...I was deemed to be able to afford my own holidays by the manager so I lost out...(this was her opinion btw, we are no different to any one else).
But I love America...I was married in City Hall, Lower Manhattan and loved every minute of the 2 and half weeks we had there.... We've been to New York, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Dallas, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina...and I want to see so much more...Virginia is my favourite and that's where we've decided to settle in the future.
Nowhere this year I'm afraid..might try and fit in a week in Cornwall...depends if and when I get surgery.

ive just always wanted to go to the US and never got there. if I got half the chance Id be over there living lol, but therapies isnt a called for job so no chance
unless I ditch the hubby and go find me a wealthy texan lolI want to go to Vegas but tbh Ill go anywhere in America, im not fussy

Had my fair share of jollys this year - Jamaica for my wedding in May and Las Vegas for UFC100 in July.
My hubby said he will treat me to a trip back to Jamaica to celebrate our 1st year anniversary and for me to wear a bikini for the first time yippeee

SOOO HAPPY to be a loser!
Im 40 in feb so would love to go away for some winter sun (not too far though) where the hotel has spa so i can be pampered - massage, facial manicures etc- what bliss. Im all set but hubby not sure about leaving our daughter for a week so nan and daughter may have to come too.
Been lots of places before married. mainland spain, morroco (yuk), ibiza, menorca (several times lovely place),malta, algarve and america- las vegas, san diego, los angeles, san fransisco,palm springs, santa barbara. it was fab. id love to go back to san fransisco.

Car'nt afford to go away this year but next July i am 50 so heading out to kenya to the masai mara and treetops on a 5 night safari and balloon ride over the plains and then off for a week to a luxury hotel soaking in the sun cannot wait hope i have lost most of my wheight by then. Janey
