I've just come back from Turkey absolutely loved it, going back for 2 weeks in Sept can't wait. I'll be into 4 weeks post op so a little worried too!!;)

Hi everyone, I will be going to Turkey in 17 days, counting down, We are all looking forward to it. I am so glad I have lost a bit of weight. Counting down the days whooooop whoooo, Sun, Sea and Sangera xx

Congratulations Cazbandy I hope you have a great wedding day and that you really enjoy your honeymoon.

Hi Kerry, We're going to Cornwall for 2 weeks and picking up my dad enroute. I just love watching the girls enjoy the beach, sea and freedom of our accommodation. My dad seems to just enjoy his grandchildren and talking cricket to my husband. I'll treasure this holiday as he was 81 on Saturday and it is nice for the girls to have happy memories about him. Who knows I may be much slimmer this time next year.

I went to Bruge back in March I am going to Porthmadog in september for a long weekend. Then of to New York in November

I am off to Vegas in just under 22 days, and I cannot wait. My husband is American (I'm not), but we lived in the states for 17 years (while he was in the military) and it feels more like home to me than the UK. Cant wait to get to the heat (hot and dry desert weather - you cant beat it). Hope to go to Grand Canyon again this year, and hike one of the Rim trails. Still worried about the seat being tight, even though I am over 4 stone lighter. Cant wait to get to Walmart, and the Las Vegas Outlet Malls.

I am on countdown, will be gone for 16 days -- yehaaa.

MNL:p

no holiday for us either this year...we're off to my Sister's though this weekend as Hubby and I are Godparents to her 2 Children this Sunday, so unless 3 nights in the Hilton Croydon count???

We had our dream holiday exactly 3 years ago to this very moment on a fabulous Island called Kuredu in the Maldives...we renewed our wedding vows on 10th August 2006 on the beach just before the sun went down and I wore a beautiful Monsoon dress (I'd just lost 4st on the Cambridge Diet and felt fantastic) I can't ever imagine anything matching that moment :sigh: it was bliss

If you don't want to go too far but want to guarantee good weather, you can't beat the Canary Islands...

No holiday this year - have paid for band op and new kitchen being installed as I type. I am going to Wales for a long weekend in September with some of the ladies I play bridge with (I use the term ladies loosely!!). We turn into 12 year olds when we go away. OH and I will be going away to a spa hotel in Broadway (Cotswolds) for a long weekend at end of August. We will be going to Thailand in January for 3 weeks (our 30th anniversary) and to Dubai in May for 10 days. I'll be going to the US with my bestist friend this time next year. I'm hoping to go with empty suitcase so I can shop!!
