Do you think I'm eating right for liver shrinkage?

Hi all, I've got my op on Saturday at Dolan Park. I've been doing the pre-op diet since last Saturday(3rd) & it has consisted of the following- the same every day...

Breakfast- 2 boiled eggs
Lunch- 1 steamed chicken breast with a green salad
Dinner- 1 piece of steamed cod or haddock with green veg

Also the occasional piece of fruit or a portion of sugar free jelly.
Am drinking 3 litres of no added sugar squash a day.

Have so far lost 16lbs.

Do you think my liver will have shrunk enough judging by what I'm eating & the weight loss?
Am petrified of waking up to be told the surgeon couldn't fit the band :(

Any advice greatly appreciated xx
 
I would say your doing really well so far, you have very few carbs, sugar and fat so im sure you will be fine.
 
You will fine and some of the 16lbs you have lost will be from your liver. I only had to do the pre-op diet for 7 days and my op went fine.

I don't.know how much in terms of calories each of your meals has been, but from what you have said it sounds like the guidance I was given. It sounds like you are doing well.
