I`m afraid I have never had WLS so have no personal experience.

But from what I`ve read on the board, I think it varies.

Hello ,

Each provider has their own guidelines, I was on clear liquids for 1/2 weeks and slops for 1/2 and then more dense food for 1 week and then normal foods thereafter.....some ppl vary accordindly too their provider , so answers will vary xx HTH xx

I think I remember being on liquids for the first week, mush for the second 2 weeks and gradually on more solids by the end of the month after mine.
