Hi there, I had my surgery at Hope w/Mr. Ammori back on 29th Oct. The experience was just perfect & I am doing very well. Another member Hopeless Case had hers there one week after me and she is doing fantastic. We both thought highly of the staff & the entire surgical team so you are both in excellent hands. Roll on Monday!!

Hi everyone well i went into hope this morning at 7am, got ready and sat there all day, but my surgery was cancelled, so ive just got home, wanted to come on to see how alison got on.... i met her 2day and she went down 2nd 2day so hopefully she is awake and all is fine... so my opp is next tue now the 13th jan ....my bloody birthday great lol... mind u ill never 4get the date i had it done.

Agree with Shel though, i think its good having the op on your birthday. Ok, so most of us would rather not be in hospital on our birthdays but you can look to the year ahead and always look back on this particular birthday as the one which changed your life.

hi everyone thanks for your messages of support its darryl alisons husband the surgery has been performed and everything has gone fine keyhole surgery was fine mr amori said there was no complications at all however she spent 4.5 hours in the surgery and when she was awoken from anesthetic she was in excrutiating pain it then took them a further 1.5 hours to get the pain under control but all ok now she currently on surgery hdu bieng looked after by the superb staff her nurse is kelly do not know if anybody else had this nurse she is lovely however kelly has noticed ali's heart rate is high running at 130 beats per minute average should be about 60>80 not a panic but she is doing a ecg and has asked a doctor to come and check her over i have to ring later to find out what he has said if everything ok mr amori will check her over and then see if to transfer to normal ward either b1 or b2 i will keep you informed with the news as i get it and thanks again sorry to hear wendys op. was cancelled but good luck for the 13th
