Heartburn/acid

I've been suffering quite sore heartburn/acid in the past couple of weeks. I've tried some over the counter products but they don't work. Do you think I can ask my gp for a prescription, I went private for my op. thanks.

Yeah your GP will help. What about taking omeprazole? That's what hosp gave me. Hope this helps. X

yes my doc gives me omeprazole x

I have had the same problem for weeks steady getting worse despite taking over the counter omeprazole it only went after my gp gave me much higher dose omeprazole, 40mg instead of 10mg. Doesnt matter that you went private just see your gp
