hi girls thanks ....tries every diet and slimming pills for nearly 30yrs...going for banding

ive had reductal, xenical, the lot...have lost 2 stone , but cant shift the rest its just doesnt want to go....so going for banding, dont no anyone who has ever had any gastric surgery so here i am

i cant wait for my surgery after reading so much positive and uplifting messages, i feel i may be the girl i was 30yrs ago, just a few extra wrinkles, but i couldnt care less i will be to busy looking in my new wardrobe of clothes i love not hate...god i hope so...

Hiya Vivien welcome I am 6 weeks post op and have found some great advice from the lovely people on this forum.
I am so glad I had the op, got my first fill yesterday. There is quite a lot of us who have had the band fitted and all at different times so if one person cant help you with a question there will always be someone come along to help out.

hi and welcome vivien bet your getting excited ! if you do get stuck with milk get sugar free crusha its the only thing thats got me thru, but im sure they will give you a diff diet

Hi Vivien, if you look on the sticky's on the top of the wls section, there is one on pre-op diets which has a few different ones in it. Each surgeon is different and if you're not suited to one they'll give you a different one. Mine had to be changed as it was high in salt and I have rubbish kidneys, so they are flexible!
