How do I edit or change a title?

Hi I have tried to do what it says on the tutorials but either I am doing it wrong or it's not working for me, any help appreciated.

Double click at the end of your title when it is in the list of threads. Then you will get a box. Write amended title in box and press enter

If it is a thread with more than one page you need to put the cursor before the page number bit

It has got 3 pages, and forgive me but whats a cursor...Be warned I am a blonde!

It looks like a capital I or arrow and can change into a hand when you move it about the screen
