I've watched all of this Kerry. Very interesting and informative, makes you think twice!

Thanks for sharing xxx

ive watched it WW should be ashamed ¬!

Interesting...shocking! she gained 3 pounds in a month!

That's 36 pounds in a year....over 2 and 1/2 stones....

....on so called diet food! Not to mention how lousy she felt! and how hungry!

Oh my WORD! I will NEVER eat that type of junk again!

This is a brilliant programme to watch... it's turned me right off Weight Watchers prepared meals... xxx

I watched this and was horrified. It was the woman who was living on Special K that shocked me. I had already decided for me to avoid any processed stuff if possible and this has convinced me it is the right thing to do.

I agree Tranquil... it was a shock... as was weight watchers ready meals... a very informative programme... wish I'd seen it years ago...

Love and hugs xxx

Nor me Julie... what an absolute turn off... xxx

I rarely eat ready meals and I am glad that I don't after watching that! I buy as little processed stuff as possible I even buy roasting beef when it is on offer and mince it it's cheaper per kilo than buying mince anyway when the beef is on offer and I know what is in it. Pure beef, no fat or other additives.

I used to Love ww meals until I discovered how much c**p was in them and how high in fat and sugar most of them are....the final nail in the coffin was the programme ( not that I ate em anymore anyway)lol........bbc does have it's uses after all...;)
even when I was on a ww diet and going too gym 5 days a week for a solid few months , I could never understand why I wasnt losing weight ( I lost 2lbs in 4 months) and I was on a right downer until I started reading the packets and stuff and then the penny finally dropped.. better late then never eh Bev lol

They make you thirsty and more hungry as do diet drinks... it's a good job we've seen the light Julie... and there's no going back for sure... combined with living with diabetes and believing in weight watchers as a helpful consumer product... it's been a nightmare... but never again.

Glad you are doing your own from scratch Carol, it's the best way for certain.

Love and hugs everyone xxx

Oh I agree completely Bev, I make everything from scratch myself and then I know exactly wot goes into it. I used to be a right coke addict ( the drink ,lol) but I havent touched coke since my op - I have been converted too NAS squashes......the gases in the drink dont bode well with my pouch no matter how long I leave it too settle, tbhI dont even miss the fizz anymore - strange but true :D

Well done Julie.

I'm living on fresh water... a little NAS... and I do like my green tea and coffee... I did have an initial thirst when I came out of hospital and that has now passed... it may have been diabetes related.

I'd drink a 2ltr of Fanta Zero every two days pre op... and my diabetes was all over the place... plus no sugar low fat foods... I can't imagine what it can do in the longer term...

Certainly one reason for poor health and weigh gain particularly in the USA with Coca Cola being so popular...

The best part of Coca Cola to me now is the Christmas Advert, but they can keep the drink...

Down my local farm they sell cranberry juice. 6 bottles for a pound and they taste lush :D

Right back at ya xxx

I am like you Julie and gave up fizzy stuff well before my op and don't miss it. I drink water now with the odd bit of NAS but not often. Coffee is the thing I have suddenly found a liking for having barely drunk it before although I limit myself to two cups a day. I tried the green coffee but couldn't get past the after taste with it. I may try it again.

I am enjoying cooking things from scratch but have the luxury of time while I am off work. The test will come when I am back working full time!
