Yeah don't forget a dressing gown as you will probably have to walk to theatre with the open backed gown on!

I'll add one more tip - pack for a couple of extra nights. Firstly clothes might become unwearable or you might need an extra night or two (I needed three extra nights).

Yes - although the hospital I went to gave me some non-slip socks - a very sexy mix with the stockings - because my slippers were deemed unsuitable lol x
