Hi Mary...i have my 1st appointment with the bariatric team next Tuesday at Sunderland royal hospital...so I'm also quite new but i'm looking forward to it, as the ball is rolling now. have you thought about which procedure you would like to have? I would like a bypass but I'll go with whatever the surgeon recommends is best for me, keeping an open mind about it...Have you had any appointments yet?....

Hi Mary. I am pretty new to all this too. I am having a band fitted in 9 days, I so like to keep saying 9 days, can't wait till tomorrow when I will be able to say 8 days!
