Good news that they are taking your request seriously. I am in a similar situation as you; I have to take the tablets for 3 months then see a dietician. It is very stressfull though becuase I can't get my hopes up as there are no guarentees even though I do fit my local criteria.

Im not sure if you are the same PCT as me or not, I know not all of Kent is the same but I got funding and my BMI is over 50 so hopefully you will, it might be better to wait until the next financial year to apply though as once they have approved a certain amount all the money for that year is gone and they cant approve any more x
