nicking food !!!

Hi

Im stuggling a little , now 16 days post op just started on purees !

Im hungry !!!

I am eating regularly but when tea time comes for the children omg its so hard and i keep nicking bits of there food (soft stuff)

I suppose old habits die hard but I really dont want to sabotage my weight loss

Please help tips most welcome

Helen, I believe you are suffering from head hunger and it is a tough bugger! When you start to prepare tea for the kids, drink as much water/squash/tea/coffee as you feel comfortable over a 5-10 minute span. Then you will have a tight feeling in your pouch which should help you to avoid grabbing a bite. Or you could try eating a yogurt right before serving them so you are full and food will seem less attractive. You can also try sipping something with a strong flavor like peppermint tea/chai tea, if you take a bite the strong flavor may make you stop as the mixture won't taste nice. You must not become a grazer because that will allow you to get in too many calories. Grazing is your enemy.
