Thanks for adding me to the list, it's been a long time coming but its goo to see my names near the top!

Operation date at last!!!

Having waited for what seems an eternity (two years actually) I finally have my operation date on 15th March in Orpington with Mr. El Hasani. I am very nervous and excited and have started my pre-op diet today, not much fun but the out come will be good - I hope.

Thanks for the reply... Did you have much pain after surgery? How long where you in hospital for.
Mr Ackroyd is my surgeon did he do yours and how did you manage your diet when you came home.
As the days are getting closer Iam getting more and more anxious and keep asking my self "what if" I know everybody's journey can be different but I am curious

No I had my done with Mr Patel I went in on the Mon and came home on the Wed. I didnt have much pain but it was to be aspected with what they had done to me. I found my diet a bit hard at first because I was so used to eatin so much. Xx

I had Mr Patel and he was great I was not in much pain it was very discomforting with you being so swollen but once you get the hang of it its not that bad but they say everybodys different. I went in on the Mon and was discharged on the Wed. My diet was a little hard to get round and still is its having to get in your head that you can't have a big portion no more but you will get there. Good Luck on the 7th hun when its done its all worth it. Let me know how you get on xxx
