Pain with alcohol

Ever since op. well over last year I've noticed if I drink on a empty stomach I get horrendous pains but I also have had these pains if I go a long time with no food. The only way I can describe the pain is as if my stomach is eating itself.

Is it like a burning pain?
I'm having a few tests done at the minute due to burning pains and pain on bending etc.
Never had anything like this before I had my bypass though.

It's like really bad indigestion and cramp at the same time.

Try Gastritis. The pain only gets worse over time, then it's the take me to A&E (now!!!!!) level of pain.

Just had a look at this on the Internet. Sounds very similar, seemly coffee is a high offender and I have gallons of the stuff.
I have no gall bladder so not sure if I produce bile.
