Squat & Trice Tone Challenge-join me please?

Hi everyone,
I'm going to see if any of the fallen can actually be lifted . I saw the 30 day Squat Challenge on MFP and have copied it below. I'm adding tricep toning to it to see if the batwings respond at all. As of this morning my left arm measures 13 inches and my right arm measure 12 inches. I will be doing a set of three excercises for biceps shown on a video on the Rosemary Conley website. I wonder if anyone will join me. If you want to tone another area of the body just put that instead of the arms. The squats are the main thing though.

Gosh no sorry- links are too hi tech for me lol. I googled tricep excercises rosemary conley and also searched on you tube coz they are on there too. I also searched Youtube for squats and learned how to do them from there.

I'll have a go at the biceps search & practice what i find may manage that better than the squats as osteoarthritis reduces that dirt of exercise but I'll do my best to find something similar I can do that will hopefully have a similar effect.

Welcome everyone. I've managed to add the biceps link now and it was easier than I thought. The ecercises are two you can do with weights or bottles of water and dips.

Glad to be of assistance. Now I just have to do them ! I've had a bit of a set back after my recent non WL surgery and been told off by doc. will have to restart after the weekend.

Do you think I could start this yet? I'm day 12 post surgery but feel great. I thought maybe squats won't pull my stomach. I'm having my stitches out today so thought maybe I could start with this before I'm allowed to exercise properly at 6 weeks.
I just feel I should be doing something.... :)

Ask when you go to get stitches out just in case its too early. xx:rolleyes:

Well think I am going to have to stop this will be the 1st dya I haven't done them, I want to continue but my knee is really killing me it does this from time to time gets a strain n its painful. I hurt it a fortnight a go after dancing all night I could hardly walk on it the day after. I have been doing the exercises daily with additional leg extensions and stretches, to help it but jarred it bit gain yesterday and its as far back as ever today have put some freeze spray on it and I have a night out planned tonight guna be dancing gain. So goodness knows what it will be like tomorrow?????? I have enjoyed the challenge was up to bout 130 squats and think that was helping tighten up me tummy area I can feel the difference, but my bingo wings well they are really passed any help other than an op which will never happen, coward that I am. Good luck allon the journey hope I can start it gain after some much needed rest and tlc on my knee xx its an old wound that plays up xx

wEll have decided to grin and bear it have just done them exercises. It doesn't hurt when doing them its mainly when I bend it certain ways sound silly but know by in the morning it will be bad after nights dancing but when the music starts I know I will be dancing hahaxx fool to my self. xx

Well Mrs Tickle I am up to around 180-190 squats its helping tighten up the bits of loose skin around bum n belly arms are too far gone not lot of difference there. Am enjoying it actually. xxx

Chrisa, You have done brilliantly ! Well done. I had to stop altogether a doc said I was not supposed not to do anything for 6 weeks, and no lifting for 12. i'm 4 weeks out now and feel good so think I'll start. I am inspired by you xxx
