Swollen tummy

I'm four days out and my tummy is very swollen and my stomach area sticks out a bit. Did anyone else find this and how long did it take for the swelling to go down??

I couldn't see mine, it was buried deep but it certainly felt tender and I'm sure someone will come along to reassure you! 4 days is early and theres bound to be swelling.

Hi Gaynor so pleased you have had your surgery I think the swelling is quite normal because of the air that they use during surgery also sometimes you have excess fluid after surgery. If it persists contact the hospital and let them know. all the best Wendy xx

I was the same swollen and I found it really hard to eat I was 8 days b4 it passed I'm now 2.5 weeks and feel great x

Thanks Wendy, am finally on the losers bench!! Felt quite rough for first 24 hours but have got better and better. Will hopefully see you at the next meeting to catch up xx
