Hi there, I am now 5 months out and take one forcival vitamin tablet, one iron tablet, one calcium/vit D tablet and 3 x zinc tablets per day. I had my op done privately but had visited GP prior to this to check he would do prescriptions for me - which he does. I also have B12 injection 3 monthly which is free. I paid for a prepaid prescriptions card for 12 months which saves me lots as each month I have 4 items. I think private prescriptions will cost much more.
I was sent home from the hospital with a month's supply of all my vitamins and painkillers - the first 3 months all had to be soluble
I was discharged with Lanzoprasole and and something to prevent gall stones which I take for 6 months. I was told to purchase A-Z multi vitamns and then get B12 injections off GP.
I take daily since op forcival x1.calciusd3 x2,fasttabx1 that's all supplied by gp however I'm medically exempt due to thyroid disease as have to take 8 other tabs daily !!
