Waking up breathless

Has anyone else had the problem of waking up in the middle of the night gasping for breath? Once I caught my breath I would then cough up a load of bile, sorry to sound gross.

maybe you've eaten too much before laying down, ive had that happen to me, it comes back up a bit lol yuk! x

Maybe you have sleep apnea waking up gasping for breath is one of the signs, you should mention it to your doctor x

i suspect that what your experiancing is acic reflux/for some people the gastric sleeve op can increase episodes of this . i suggest you take a trip to the gp for some meds.good luck
