Weigh before theartre?

Just a quickie - do they weigh you before you go to theatre???

I think they would have to weigh you so they can anaesthetise you the right amount of medication . How are you feeling hun . Good luck and take care .

i remember someone posting they were gutted because they didnt weigh themselves because they assumed they would be weighed before surgery and they weren't, might be worth you weighing yourself just in case.

yes, I was weighed but I forgot to measure myself and wish I'd remembered now

I wasnt weighed before i went to theatre,but i knew i wouldnt be so i went into boots the day before my op for my
pre op weight.

I was weighed before a surgery I had last year...(I thought that they always did).

Ask to be weighed. I'm sure they won't mind.

I wasn't weighed. I did it at home just in case. I am glad I did now.

I've been going to boots to be weighed once at beginning of milk diet and then again one week on so i will go into boots tomorrow and get weighed again just in case. Think i've lost about 10lbs to a stone but i don't care how much i've lost only know it won't be going on again xx

Make sure u measure yourself before surgery it helps when after surgery you don't lose pounds as you will lose inches.

i was weighed om ward but cant remember if it was b4 or after, all a blur but i remember being shoved on scales lol
