Hi Joe i had the bypass private they ask a lot of questions, and you will be weighed went again for test, but they are all diffrent, it wont stop you worrying tho,when you are paying its all ok good luck xx

Hi Jo, I see you are in Chesterfield. Are you going with Mr Ackroyd? I am but via NHS & I am in Sheffield. All my consultation consisted of was Height, weight, bloods & 15min consult with Mr Patel who is part of Mr Ackroyds team. He let me ask whatever I wanted, did not rush me at all & was lovely in general. We decided between us which surgery was appropriate for me & he then confirmed he would accept me on his list ... phew. This will be different for you as you are going private but all in all it was a very positive experience for me Good Luck for tomorrow, hunni xx

I had my pre assessment on Monday & have been told surgery should be within 12 weeks but was also put on the cancellation list too so could be sooner (fingers crossed) xx

I think roger normally gives out a 10 day milk diet which is 3 pints of milk with 2 low fat yogs. Great news that youve got a date! X
