Lactulose made me ill and hurt my pouch so I used and still occasionally use glycerine suppositories. Make sure you drink as much as you can too xx

I couldnt get hold of milk of magnesia - was told by chemist that theres a problem with production.

I'm day 3 post op and my stomach has bloated so much tonight, I'm super uncomfortable and am wondering what I can take to relieve consipation. Its been 6 days eeeck

docusate sodium 100mg 2 capsules twice a day is ok. but get your doctor to prescribe or buy over the counter version. It softens rather than irritates. So plenty of water and a couple of these and job done hope that's not too much information. I would avoid any irritant type.
