pre-op diet question

Hi everyone, I am due to start my pre-op on the 23rd November. I'm under Lewisham hospital, I have to do 1 pint ss milk, 4 cans ww soup (100cals each), 4 low fat yogurts (100 cals each) for 2 weeks.
I prefer to make my own soup but not sure how to go about making sure I stick within my calorie allowance per soup if u know what I mean. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks ?

I would use the ww soup as advised so you don't go off track. It's all about following the rules is this surgery business. Good luck

Thanks for advice, I have started buying the soups already. I don't eat meat so my choice is quite limited! I can only find tomato, carrot and coriander ww soups!

As nice as homemade soup is I agree with kar, to keep yourself on track calories wise go with the ww soup
You can maybe make your soup up for post op when you won't always feel in the mood to cook and you can portion it out small enough at the start of your post op

I found the tomato was actually quite nice and it's not a flavour I like..just go with it and you will do very well.

I took your advice, went today and bought them..I managed to find 4 different vegetarian flavours..happy days! 52 cans of soup!

52cans of soup! Bet the cashier thought I've got a nut job here!
