Peoples comments?!

I just wondering if people get bugged with people always saying "oh my god you look amazing " "you look so skinny!! ". "You are doing so well!!" I know people mean well but as far as the skinny comment goes it's rubbish I'm still 16 stone and what person who is 16 stone can be called skinny ?! Really I know people mean well but it is all the time another favourite of mine is " how much have you lost now?!!" I know I've done well but it's a constant discussion about weight . Don't get me wrong I'm not ungrateful for people's niceness but it does wear you down after a bit , talk about other things apart from weight loss sorry just wondering if any of you feel the same ?! X

I never get bored of hearing it lol its nice to be reminded just how far I've come.... especially as my head still seems to be in denial lol but yes all talk now is wl related ....... its all I seem to be known for now lol but again I don't care..... this wls journey has saved my life and its a huge thing for me, i'm happy to talk the pants of anyone who wants to listen..... x x x x

as much as I enjoy the positive comments it does get me thinking of how the hell did I like before!
I have to agree with crystal its still gives me a buzz 6 months post WLS I love talking about it to those who ask and I tell them the truth ,warts and all!
this WLS as changed my life in so many ways I cant tell people enough its such a gift I can only hope I carry on losing the weight and look back at how far ive come

I don't mind it at all. What I do find very, VERY odd, is that I live in a tiny hamlet in the middle of nowhere. There are only around 35 homes, so as you can imagine, everyone knows everyone. Yet not a single person around here has commented on my almost 14 stones weight loss to date. Weird!!

It must be the Cornish way lol its the same here lol I've been going to the local bingo for over a year here and not one person has mentioned my loss lol it tickles me :8855:

I never tire either here in the forum or elsewhere. I love to see and congratulate on other peoples successes ..so I'm sorry if I come over as a bit gushy but I am genuinely pleased to see people succeed. When I got to size 16 from size 36 I certainly looked skinny in comparison. However I do get irked by people who tell me I should stop losng now ....why would I or should I When I'm still on the BMI scale as top end overweight ??
