Hi not sure if anyone remembered me but I had a mini gastric bypass last October and had lots of complications but I'm almost a year out now and food any food makes me feel sick. I'm down 11 stone but I don't look well I'm pale and dry wrenching: heaving all the time some times even getting sick I'm taking all my vitamins and omeprosol I'm still on anti nausea meds but I just feel sick all the time.

I went private so I don't have a team to contact I live in Ireland and my gp has sent a letter to a bariatric clinic but there is over a year waiting list

Please someone tell me it will get better :(

Oh I am so sorry to hear about your complication. Must be horrid.
I would still hold the clinics accountable.it is their duty to do the operation and ensure you are well after it.
Pester them.
What you are going through is not right.

I remember you! Sorry things haven't gone well..something is definately wrong and I hope it gets sorted. Thanks for posting x

Sorry to hearing your woes I can only hope things get better for you very soon

Thanks everyone. I'm just afraid I'll drop dead some day. Or not wake up. I'll keep trying my gp to contact them and hurry an appointment up.

Hi Polly

I remember you, sorry you are having such a rough time.

Go to your A and E and tell them what's going on, you could even have a stomach ulcer.
Dont wait for your Doctor.

Keep in touch, and let us now how you are getting on

I read your story a while back and do remember all the problems you had. I am only 3 and a half months out from MGB and rarely feel nauseous these days though It was constant in the early weeks. I don't think you should wait, rather take Willow's advive and present your self at an A&E, preferably one with a bariatric unit, to get checked out.

Good luck and take care x
