2014 Sleevies Food Diary/s

What a fab birthday present!! Happy belated birthday!!! So, I've not been keeping a food log recently.. But I know that last week I was eating a fairly big(well, not big.. But more than normal) amount each meal time.. This week, I'm not.. Feeling restriction and getting full pretty fast! It's very strange!! I have myself an aim for this weekend.. It's to try lettuce and a tortilla wrap (not together) and today I tried lettuce, went done fine and was soo nice!! And tomorrow I will try a tortilla.. Thinking a small ham wrap maybe? Hope you are all well xx

Well I tried 1 (one yolk)egg scrambled with some grated cheese for breakfast.. Managed half. Yet 2weeks ago I ate almost a full ham, onion and cheese double yolk omelette... I'm not bothered about it though haha just feels weird! Suppose I'll get used to it changing all the time! Xx
 
Today:
B - bacon sandwich (wholemeal bread and lean bacon)
S - costa lemon muffin
L - 4 oatcakes with peanut butter
D - chicken breast with mozarella and pancetta 1 new potato, peas, cabbage
 
Today
B- 3/4 poached egg on toast
L- 1/2 small carton of seafood mix, 1 chip & 1 piece of scampi, just the top of a 99 with flake.... All my seaside favourites as we went to Sheringham for a few hours
D- small slice of salmon quiche no crust,1 new potato and a little salad with Mayo, 2 tbs of homemade trifle
S- small slice of homemade olive& feta bread with olive spread, 1 saint auger 1 Camembert cracker and 5 grapes.... And a 1/2 small glass of wine
 
I'm 13 weeks out and wanting to try pork I the slow cooker.. Has anyone had it yet?? Xx
 
Hi Kirsty that should be fine - I had slow cooked meat once I was on solids. Its more tender and should go down easily.
Yesterday:
B - 1 shredded wheat with ss milk
S - 1 danio 0% fat yogurt
L - ! Warburtons thin with turkey
apple
S - go ahead fruit bake
D - lean steak, slimming world chips (about 6), peas and grilled mushrooms
 
Will hopefully get some on Thursday and try it over the weekend!

Today I've eaten
B 30g asda brand Special K with SSM
L dairylea dunker (the tube one)
S A twirl
D 200g tin spaghetti and sausages
400ml tea with SSM 200ml coffee wi SSM and 600ml NAS juice

According to myfitnesspal that equates to 726 calories...
 
B- fried egg sandwich( fry light) tsp ketchup no crusts
L- 6 Melba toast 1 reduce fat mini pot of hummus
D- homemade Bolognese 4 penne pasta 1 slice garlic baguette, sprinkle of cheddar
S- mini magnum
 
Yesterday:
B - Jordans natural muesli with ss milk
S - fresh pineapple with 0% fat natural fromage frais
L - Warburtons thin with mini chicken fillets, apple
S - Rice krispies square
D - cottage pie made with extra lean mince, swede and celeriac mash
- Danio 0% fat yogurt
Exactly 1 year since my surgery today!
 
Sorry I've not been posting it's been pretty manic here.... My son and gf are keeping the baby now so had a lot on... And I've not been particulars good just grabbing anything when hungry... No weight loss for 3 weeks now. Started back swimming this morning swam a mile in just over a hour... Back on the ball today giving it a kick start. Need to be a fit 36 year old granny lol xx

L - 4 melba toasts with light cheese spread, barbeque chicken pieces, danio yog
S - rice krispies square
D - slimming world all day breakfast omlette with baked beans
 
Today:
B - Shreddies with ss milk
L - 4 melba toasts with light soft cheese and ham
D - small homemade slimming world burger, salad
S - couple squares wholenut choc
 
Yesterday
B- 1/2 sausage 1/2 slice of bacon 2 tsp of beans egg yolk, 1/2 slice of toast.
L- slice toast, pate
D- 1 slice pizza heavy on veg
S- mini magnum
Today
B- slice toast pate
L- small bowl of fruit n nut mini weetabix
D- 3 king prawn. In dansak 1tbs of pilau ( big mistake) feel like I could breathe fire...
S- corn on cob from KFC
S- 1/2 malteaser bar
 
Yesterday
B-small bowl of mini weetabix choc chip skimmed milk
L- 1/2 sausage 1/2 white roll tsp brown sauce
D- homemade lamb hotpot, 1 tbs mash 1 med broccoli floret
S- bag ready salted French fries
S- muller rice
 
B- poached egg on toast
L- Melba toast & hummus
D- 1 serving spoon chilli con-carne 2 tablespoon of rice
S- small slice lemon cheesecake
 
B- rumblers, yogurt & granola pot
L- slice whole meal toast, pate & red onion chutney
D 1/2 pork & apple burger small handful oven French fries salad and mayo
S- fat free lemon Greek yog
 
I know this is an old post before anyone comments. But finally out of puréed phase it's so good to know what other people are eating. I am really struggling with what to eat. Today I had
Breakfast I scrambled egg 1 tablespoon flaked salmon ( ate half)
Lunch I tablespoon coronation chicken sandwich filling
Snack Dairylea dunkers ( all of one,)
Dinner 2 tablespoons hummus with edemame beans from M&S
Snack handful of cashew nuts.
All of which were hard work, am rubbish at this am going to end up flabby and bald instead of fat and breathless lol.

I havent had my op yet...3rd Nov for me but i have been doing lots of research.
Found loads of post op recipes on Pinterest . There is also lots handy advise
I hope this helps a little, even if it just gives you a place to start

Mrsb1 , it does get easier. Hang on there. I found mixing protein powder in soups helped now and then. I use Pulsin which mixes really well without the horrid after taste.
Your diet sounds good, well done.
