3month checkup - One of those posts!

Today I went for my 3 month appointment / check up at Charing Cross hospital. The Dr was very pleased with my progress, on every level. 4st 5lbs down. My blood pressure is now perfect and so are my blood results. I have a vitamin D and slight iron deficiency which I already had before the op. Nothing to be worried about apparently. I take supplements for this.

He said to me 'you've always looked happy but now you look even happier' and how right he was! I can't stop smiling. My life is changing for the better every day and there are not many words to accurately describe how happy I feel. I have been lucky in that I haven't had any complications so far. Long may it last.

This journey is truly magical and I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity to change my life. Something I had already given up on and NEVER thought possible many years ago!

I saw one of the Drs, forgot his name. Greek sounding. Met him before during my hospital stay. Dr LaRoux was also seeing patients this morning.
Sarah was there also (one of the bariatric nurses) she weighed me today then I spoke to the Dr.
