Anyone been to Madrid?

Looking at going to Madrid for a few days "city break" just wondering if anyone had been.

If so, what area/hotel did you stay in and have you got any recommendations for the things that you did and enjoyed or things to stay away from? lol

I haven't been to Madrid, but I can fully recommend Prague. It's a lovely place to visit

Yep. Stayed right in the city centre. Went to museums. Not my favourite place though.

I've been several times. It's a really elegant city. Try and stay around Sol or the Grand Via where you will be in the middle of everything, and the metro system is cheap and easy to take you about. Good choice for a quick break.
