Belgium Surgey cash payment

Hi, I've been asked to pay the balance of my weight loss surgery in cash euros the night before my surgery in Belgium. I was wondering if anyone here has had their surgery performed in Belgium via Belgium Surgery Services? Did you pay in cash the night before? What was your experience please? Thanks Viki

Yes, I had a cosmetic procedure over there in October. Felt so weird with the whole cash aspect, but it was absolutely fine.

I had surgery with them 2 years ago and I either had to pay 500 euros deposit or forward proof of my travel documents. I could either pay the balance in cash the night before surgery or I could transfer the money into their bank account 2 weeks before...this may have changed because the exchange rates have been more unpredictable

It was the same for me, a 10% deposit or proof of travel in advance then cash the night before, or by bank transfer 2 weeks before. It seems so strange to be handing your hard earned cash over but honestly they were lovely.

I actually did the bank transfer. I used one of the specialist FX companies as the exchange rate was better than my bank. I then waited nervously for Frederik to confirm receipt as that was the first, and only, time I had done that.
