Brunetteandred's Blog

No one is ever bored with your blogs Red they are pure inspiration on a PC - keep them coming lol

Demons have surfaced.

Red, you knew this day would come, and you are also strong enough to deal with it, no matter how low you feel right now.

You are not a total prat, you are a very strong woman who after having a life changing operation is dealing with emotional issues that come with such a change.

You have also not had your head swapped with a mad woman's as, I can assure you, I still have my mad head today so you definately have not got it.

Its a bad day, what you need to do is look at is as a blip, that will not happen again tomorrow.

Your life is going to be one day at a time for quite a while. OK, today you ate things you know you shouldn't eat and you feel quite poorly, what's the betting you won't do the same tomorrow.

Red, don't feel low, I know its easier for me to say as I'm not going through what you are today but like everyone else on here, we are all going through life changes and some days are better than others.

Red, you have been and are, an inspiration to a lot of people. To date you have done remarkably well and you will continue to do so.

Keep up the good work and show those demons that you won't be beaten by them.

PB x :)

Cheers and big hugs to two of my diamonds. And I have had another on the phone (he knows who he is). I am not usually so 'titty' but I guess it has just been one of those days. Tomorrow is another day, in fact, this evening is another evening, so maybe I'll just put this afternoon behind me and ride on.

There are two things I know about human nature. First, nobody ever wakes up and declares, "Today is the day I will relax my enthusiasm and get off track." Second, nobody ever wakes up and gets back on track without first saying, "Today is the day I get back on track and I have a plan." Falling off track happens without a plan or script. Getting back on track requires a conscious decision, a carefully designed plan and the determination to make it happen.
Why do we fall off track? There are hundreds of reasons: stress, complacency, happiness, grief, celebrations, devastations, distractions and reactions. Nobody wants to fall of track, but life is full of twists and turns that disrupt our focus. It makes me sad when people talk about shame and failure when they have left the weight loss surgery track for a myriad of reasons. This is not a cause for shame or failure; this is a fact of humanity and indeed of living. But human nature is also resilient and powerful. We have the ability to recover from set backs time and time again.

Its a long Hard slow journey we have entered into and at some point we all will fall of track and Im sorry but if anyone says that they will stick to the rules 100% are in for a fall

Keep with it Red tomorrow is another day

Red - i agree with both PB and SS's advice. If you didn't have your 'off days' how would you enjoy each small goal we have for ourselves.

You are a lovely, caring and strong lady - you have great advice to give all of the newbie's and the old pro's lol and you are normally one of the first people to be there when someone needs help/advice/or just someone to share a shoulder with.

I know you are loved by SOOO many people on this forum and they all know you are a loser on the losers bench and one day you will be able to show everyone what your hard work and determination has achieved.

Sending you hugs with fairy dust for a better night and day x

Ive only just seen this Red after coming in from work so Im sorry I didnt post earlier.

Youve already had lots of brilliant advice so I have nothing to add. Teen has it spot on when she says anyone who thinks they will never ever deviate from the "plan" is wrong.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and be ready to face the next challenge when it comes.

huge hugs xx
