Can you throw up with a band from being ill?

Hi guys,

Something i've only just considered after having my band!

If you are genuinely ill with a stomach bug etc can you throw up? I mean it's a concentrated effort to get food down with chewing and waiting so I can't imagine what it would be like if you had to bring it all back up again from being ill?

I have been ill with stomach bugs, one with sickness. Yes you can be sick and it hurts! much more than pre band. Thankfully I have only had the sickness part once x

Its happened to me once in two years which is good going, having an 8 year old who often picks up bugs from school. Try not to let it worry you x

I was poorly yesterday and had my 1st sickness episode since being banded. To me it came up as 'normal', no different than before.
Mind you, ive not had a fill as yet in my 9ml band.
