Been at Chrisites all day and good news (I think). They have agreed to remove mums lung to give her a better chance. Doctors really nice and supportive. Pre of today op next thursday. Deal with the lung cancer first and if that goes well deal with the other. Saw my mum cry today for the first time in 20years, shes such a hardnut usually and thats why our relationship always up and down. Thanks for all your kind words means alot. big hugs xxx

Hugs to you both,my husbands father was one of the first in the country to have a lung removed back in the 50s.He was fine.Died from something else years later. They are so much more advanced today so tell her not to worry too much, where there is hope, they will do their best for her.Positive attitude helps greatly.Love Maz x

lots of hugs to you. Glad they're being pro-active with your mum's treatment. My dad's still with us two years after receiving a terminal cancer diagnosis btw. when I visited today they were sat there planning their next holiday lol.

They are fantastic at Christies. My mum had non hodgkins lymphoma and was treated there and couldn't have asked for a better hospital. More manc hugs to you and your familyxx
