Confused....surgery in scotland

Hi

I've got a cancellation for consultation with THG in Glasgow this Sunday however reading all the emails they've just sent surgery would be in England.

Is that correct?

I wasn't operated by THG but I was in their Glasgow office a few days ago. The ladies that I met all had gastric bands and they said that yes they went to England for their ops.

There are surgeons, though not many, doing private ops in Scotland. Mr Stuart at Ross Hall and couple of guys at Spire Edinburgh.

I actually went abroad as 8 years ago there were even fewer but I am currently seeing Mr Stuart for some diagnostics. He seems very good from what I have seen and heard.

Hopefully a proper THG patient will come along soon,

EDIT. I just did a quick search and there are people who also have had ops at the Nuffield. I imagine that might be via THG as it is where they offered to send me for an xray. Maybe THG themselves can explain.

My fault, I didn't read the website correctly.

So still on for consultation on Sunday eeeek.

I'm waiting for them to get back to be ref flying after surgery as Birmingham to Aberdeen is a long long way if I have to get the train
