I've entered the 50 mile ride. It's not a 'race' as certain rules/insurances apply, it's a challenge. It's a road ride and there will be people much better than me but I want to see how my fitness compares to others

Mixxy, I'm sure you'll love it and shock yourself with your fitness.

I'm back on my bike in 2 weeks, cycling to work its only 4 miles each way but its a start and if the weathers good and I get that hooked I might be joining you in a couple of years time.
