Epilepsy!!!

Hi does anyone have Epilepsy and has had a band? I have medication for auras never fitted. And not sure if having a band will effect my auras due to lack of fat adsorption? Help......please.

Why would the fat absorption cause a problem? I've had a bypass but my team know about my epilepsy background. I no longer take meds and have not had a fit or seen auras in years but this was not a problem for getting the go a head for the bypass.

Hi generally if fat is not absorbed your body can relapse and then fit or auras come back regardless of being on medication.

I suppose need to eat good fats.

My research is for banders I don't know about other ops.
