Hi all I had a gadtric sleeve done 8 days ago.
I kkep thinking that I'm gonna fail in this to I'm not sure how quick the weight will come off.
I'm havin a yogurt for breakfast, half a tin of soup fir lunch with a yog or little pot custard, and the same for tea and a warm milk at bed time.
Does anyone think that this is right
I stop when I'm full
Coz I've always failed every weight loss thing I've ever done x

Aww Jayne, one of the experienced 'sleevers' is bound to be around at some point... or message Mixxy... for help...

I'm not sure or able to help on this point, but I would like to send you love and warmest thoughts, for a successful recovery and weightloss... it's very early days Angel and everything is bound to be healing and swollen... so give it more time and hoping you can get the correct advice regarding what you should be eating... did they give you a diet chart before you left hospital or discuss this with you precious?

Feel better very soon and sending loads of love to you xxx

its early days yet sweetheart - and as Bev said ask other sleevers for adice, i just wanted to add, a ~hug ~ and say i have always failed too....now its all changed!!

Hun, it sounds like you are doing just fine. I was eating about the same at your time out of surgery. As long as you go with what your body tells you and not what your head is telling you, you willl be fine.

One other thing i will say is try not to put so much pressure on yourself, you will end up making yourself very poorly. Just relax, the op is over now, your new life is starting!!

Remain postive and take each day as it comes :) xxxxx

Best way is to stop before you're full.

But most important thing of all, snap out of this self prophecy, 'I will fail'

This time it's different. You've never been down this route before and probably won't do again. You're going to be emotional. You've had major surgery, everyone is.

But please, believe, this time it's different xx

Sweetheart, just listen to your body.... My surgeon says there is no way my surgery cannot work (okay i'm a bypasser).. I think i'm a failure quite a lot the last few weeks, but i'm not i just need to put the exercise effort in... I'm 60lbs down and i've never ever lost 60lb without a lot of deprivation and feeling hungry...

Listen to your body, get your fluids in and recover. Listen to your surgeon and his team and all will be well xx
