Random topic - but does anyone else forget to take their meds? I can pretty much guarantee that I will forget both sets of daily meds at least 4 times a week! Which is crazy!!
hi sal i used to but i keep them in a cupboard next to my kettle and i set my self a new rule that i wasnt allowed my morning cuppa until ive had the meds, now its just become part of a natural daily routine for me and it becomes habbit.
I used to forget all the time, but now i keep them next to kettle so first thing in the morning while im waiting for it to boil i take my meds xxxxxxxx goodluck xxxxxxx
I too keep them in a cupboard by the kettle, but since I went back to work I have forgotten them a couple of times - or worse forgotten whether I've taken them - senior moments are becoming more frequent! x x
Why not put them in your breakfast bowl before you go to bed (out of reach of the kids) and then they'll be there to remind you. I keep mine upstairs and don't come down in a morning untill I've taken them. When I go to bed at night its the first thing I do before getting in the shower or in bed.
im pre op but teack meds for otherthings im always forgetting them and i have them in a drawer at side of kettle ,then later on i cant remember if i did or not so i think id better not just in case my son says its alsimmers(?) i told him its the efect of living with him for 23 years
how about setting your mobile phone alarm to remind you to take them. Mine too are in a cupboard with the teabags so i dont forget. Must say since the op i have become forgetable of a lot of things! who am i?????? must check my profile status to remind me lol xxx
I have to take meds for various thing and kept forgetting to take them. Now, when I take my morning tablets I leave the evening tablets on top of the container. When I go into the bathroom sometime during the day and there are no tablets there I know that I haven't taken my morning dose. It works for me.
